Based on many years of camping experience, the following represents a
good list of things to consider packing and bringing with you. We encourage you
to fine-tune this list based upon the specific type of camping you intend to do
on each visit.
Food items--you will need some minimum amount. Our fully-equipped
Campground store and Snack Bar can assist you. A grocery store is 8 miles
away. A Wal-Mart Super Store is only
20 minutes away.
* Pots/Pans
* Utensils (forks, knifes, spoons)
* Dishes/Dish Soap
* Napkins/Paper Towels/Paper Plates
* Coffee Cups/Drinking Cups/Trash Bags
* Tongs, Large Cooking Forks
* Grill/Camping Stove/ Matches/Lighter Fluid
* Flashlight/Batteries/Lantern/Mantels/Fuel
* Tent/Tent Stakes
* Sleeping Bags/Blankets/Pillows/Air Mattress
* Cooler
* Towels/Washcloths/Beach Towel
* Electric Cords/Water Hose/Candles
* Personal Hygiene Items:
Deodorant, Toothpaste/Brush/Razor/Hairbrush/Comb
Bar Soap/Shampoo/Conditioner/Sunglasses/Sunscreen
* First Aid Kit/Insect Repellent
* Camera/Film
* Clothing:
Pants, Shorts, Shirts, Jacket, PJ's, Swim Gear
Underclothes, Footwear, Sweatshirt, Rain Gear
If you are renting a luxury cabin, lodge, or trailer from us, it is
equipped with Pots Pans, TV, Microwave, Dishes, Utensil, & Toilet Paper. You
need to bring the following in addition to any items from the above list you
might need:
* Sheet size: Double or Queen, Single or Twin or Sleeping Bags
* Pillows
* Blankets
